How to access MikroTik
MikroTik is a Latvian manufacturer of professional routers used in advanced home and business setups. The default IP is different from most routers:

Username: admin
Password: (leave blank)
What you can configure
Since RouterOS 6.49, MikroTik requires setting a password at first login.
Winbox - MikroTik configuration tool
MikroTik is mainly configured through Winbox, a free desktop application downloadable from mikrotik.com. Winbox offers more advanced configuration than the web interface.
MikroTik not responding?
Check that you are connected directly to the router via Ethernet. Wireless management is disabled by default on some models. Use Winbox for initial configuration.
